VISION DOCUMENT OF MAHESHTALA MUNICIPALITY 

            The Board of Councillors of Maheshtala Municipality has adopted the Maheshtala Municipal Vision Statement. 

       “The MaheshtalaMunicipality shall design for the systematic growth of the town so as to transform it as a city in the making with the active association of its citizens belonging to different religion, castes, creeds and culture through a participatory municipal administration by providing the required level of infrastructural facilities.

       The MaheshtalaMunicipality with active participation of Community Development Societies shall adhere to pro-poor orientation for the socio economic upliftment of the poorer section of the society to give them their due status with special emphasis on women empowerment. 

        The MaheshtalaMunicipality shall present before the citizens an active, friendly, effective and powerful administration. The Councillors and the employees shall work in unison to provide hassle-free, transparent, on time and neutral municipal services to the citizens.”
